What does "You do not have permission to view this game" mean?
There are a number of reasons why you are seeing the message "You do not have permission to view this game". Below are some steps on how to determine why this message is occurring:
- You do not have an active subscription and the game is not listed as "Free". Note: You will need to purchase a subscription to view games that are not marked as "Free".
- You have a Community Subscription but are trying to view a game outside of the Community Network. You will need to upgrade your subscription to a HockeyTV Yearly or Monthly Pass to view games in the Elite Network.
- Sometimes, if you are watching behind the live broadcast and your connection is interrupted after the broadcast ends in real-time, you may briefly lose access (and see the error in the image below) while the game is being placed back into our system On-Demand. During this time, the game does not appear on the schedule page. On-Demand content is typically available shortly after a game is over, however, sometimes events that are beyond our control can cause delays in posting the On-Demand file. In rare instances, an On-Demand broadcast may not become available at all due to issues that occur. Please contact support for more information.
