Why did HockeyTV merge with FloHockey?

HockeyTech was acquired by FloSports in October, 2021. As a part of the acquisition, the properties are converging and HockeyTV content will now be streaming on FloHockey. Now, in one location, fans have access to all their favorite leagues and a fan experience that combines the best of FloHockey and HockeyTV into a single platform to watch live streams and game replays, get the latest news, and catch up on highlights, results, and standings across all their favorite devices.

What will I be able to watch on FloHockey?

Starting August 1, 2023 FloHockey will be streaming all content that would be on HockeyTV. In addition to live streams, FloHockey gives you unlimited access to game replays and highlights, live scores, league standings, team rosters, player stats, and even more leagues, exclusive content, and hockey news than ever before!

How do I get access to FloSports?

• Paid subscribers - If you paid for a HockeyTV subscription, you will be able to claim your FloSports account. Just click the link to set up your account password, and then you will be able to sign into FloSports.

• Free HockeyTV Account Holders - You may sign up for a FloHockey account and subscription here. 

Will my HockeyTV subscription be renewed, or will I need to subscribe to FloHockey

If you have an active paid HockeyTV subscription, it will be transferred over to FloHockey and will renew automatically per the guidelines below:

• If you only have HockeyTV subscription - Your subscription will continue to renew on its current HockeyTV billing date.

• If you have both HockeyTV and FloHockey subscriptions - Your subscription will renew on the current FloHockey billing date.

Will my HockeyTV subscription price change after moving to FloHockey?

There will be no changes to your subscription pricing, billing frequency or currency. The transition should be seamless, with the only change being that you will now see FloHockey on your bank statement / credit card statement. 

What happens if I change my subscription plan? 

Existing HockeyTV subscriptions will be migrated to the equivalent FloSports subscription plan at your current price. If you need to make changes, you can do that from the account management feature on FloHockey, but please know that any changes to your subscription plan, may also replace grandfathered pricing with our current subscription rates.

What if I already have a FloSports subscription?

If you have both an annual FloHockey and HockeyTV subscription, the two will be merged together and any time remaining will be added to your FloHockey account. If your subscriptions have different billing periods, future billing will default to the billing details associated with your FloHockey account. If you have already paid for additional time on your HockeyTV subscription it will be added to your FloHockey subscription. Does this impact my subscription renewal date?

• If you only have HockeyTV subscription your subscription will continue to renew on its current HockeyTV billing date..

• If you have both HockeyTV and FloHockey subscriptions, your subscription will renew on the current FloHockey billing date.

How do I watch my favorite league and teams?

Content from HockeyTV will be streaming exclusively on FloHockey starting Aug 1, 2023. If your favorite team or league was streaming on HockeyTV you can continue watching them by claiming your FloHockey account here. You can manage your favorite leagues and teams going forward as part of your FloHockey experience.

I reset my password last week and I can’t get logged in/ Are my passwords the same?

HockeyTV and FloHockey are two different platforms, resetting your password only changes the password for the platform you are on, not both.

When will the HockeyTV website be gone?

The HockeyTV website will not immediately go away. Beginning August 1, 2023, all games will begin streaming on FloHockey. Even though games will no longer be streaming on HockeyTV, the website will remain available to help ease the transition to the new experience on FloHockey. FloSports plans to keep the HockeyTV website available through the end of year with the expected sunset of the website to be determined in 2024.

Can I view VOD games from previous seasons?

VOD games from previous seasons on HockeyTV will not be available on FloHockey. However, full replays for all games streaming on FloHockey for the 2023-2024 season and going forward will be available as part of your subscription.

Will I still have access to my HockeyTV bookmarks?

As part of the migration of HockeyTV subscriptions to FloHockey on August 1st, 2023, previous game bookmarks or replay VOD on HockeyTV will no longer be accessible.

How do I manage my account going forward?

Effective Aug. 1, all account management will be done through the FloHockey website or app. 

What Leagues Are Going To Be Available On FloHockey

Leagues previously streaming on HockeyTV will now be streaming on FloHockey. For the 2023-’24 season, subscribers can enjoy unlimited access to USHL, ECHL, SPHL, Junior, and College hockey games, exclusive content, live scores and stats all in one place, across their favorite devices on FloHockey.

What is FloHockey?

FloSports, a leader in sports streaming and original content, created FloHockey which is a live and on-demand hockey streaming platform. On FloHockey, fans can access live streams and game replays of their favorite teams and players, in-game real-time stats, team and league standings, player stats, videos, news, documentaries, and editorial content across their favorite devices.

I do not have an active HockeyTV subscription. How do I claim my FloHockey account?

If you do not have an active HockeyTV subscription, you will need to sign up for a FloHockey account and purchase a subscription as a new user.

My HockeyTV subscription is currently paused, how does this impact the subscription migration?

Your billing will not resume until the date that you chose to resume your subscription. Your subscription will be paused in the FloSports system. It is important to note that you will not be able to pause your subscription again on FloSports after your billing resumes.

Can I still access my previous Game Purchases from HockeyTV?

Customers who have previously purchased game downloads for offline viewing will continue to be able to access prior game purchases on HockeyTV website through the end of calendar year 2023, until such time the website is sunset in 2024 (TBD).
